Meghan O'Connor is an actor, writer, and educator based in New York who admired Wombat from a distance before joining the ensemble of their steampunk Cyrano de Bergerac. She has since been happily involved with Wombat as an assistant director (Danny/Gruesome), designer (Moore & Sons), and performer (Moore & Sons, A Midsummer Night's Dream). Meghan earned her MA in Educational Theatre from NYU and holds her BA in English and Theatre/Performance Studies from Georgetown University. She currently works as a teaching artist, providing theatre workshops in scene study, performance, and devising original work to students of all ages in three boroughs. She has been privileged to work with a wide array of nonprofit organizations and schools, including Opening Act, NIA Community Services, TADA! Youth Theater, and Bay Ridge Preparatory School.
